Cushion Sand:  Sand and clay content, excellent for under concrete.

 

Screened Sand:  Low clay content, excellent for backfill around pipes and conduit, level ground for above ground swimming pool.

 

Select Fill (Clay):  Clay with low sand content, used to level sites for houses, buildings and barns.

 

Common Fill :   No specific mixture of clay and sand used to fill low areas, not to be used under building sites.

 

Top Soil :  Virgin Top Soil, may have tree roots and grass clods, used for new lawns, spread with tractor.

 

Screened Top Soil :   Same Top Soil as above, screening removes tree roots and grass clods, excellent for hand work in exisiting yards. This material works well for existing and new flower beds. Also good for home gardens.
